After several years of semi-successful attempts to create that perfect table component that would perfectly morph itself to every existing use case and will be flexible enough to evolve for future ones, I decided to scale back and concentrate on a single table cell.

It has been working well so far - it takes me less time to create new tables for our enterprise app, I never detach the component, and it's easier to manage.

The only downside is that you need to dig into layers to modify sub-components (inputs, tags, etc.) but I would rather do that over having thousands of variants. (In general, I think if you have a smaller team you shouldn't try to create every possible variant that exists).
