For the following work, the Canadian immigration cultures and their holidays / celebrations were selected as a main theme.

Chinese - The Lantern Festival (marks the end of the Chinese New Year),

Christian - Christmas,

Indian - Diwali: Festival of Lights

Jewish - New Year: Rosh Hashanah

Theme: Celebrations of immigrants are important in Canada. Here we appreciate traditions of our past and bring them to our new future in Canada. 

Style was selected to be appropriate to the theme. All colors through celebrations are similar red/blue/green/yellow or gold/black. As well as, night views are most appropriate - because most of the rituals are happening after sun goes down. In all 4 stamps, different women, through the frame of traditional windows, represent architecture of the origin of the place. Figures are presented in red dresses bringing a feel of unity to the overall look.
